We are often asked about the progress of the canning unit, so here comes the latest update:

We are working continuously with the beer canning unit, and we are making steps forward every day. Last week we started testing the automation of the movement. In the video below you can see the filler FK1-6 with changed filling tubes to fill cans with counterpressure, just as we fill bottles. After being filled, the machine presses down lids on top of the cans (to protect the beer) while they move forward to the seaming station.

The next step is to continue testing with water and later on with beer. We hope to start testing the canning unit in a brewery at the end of September 2020.
