Continued work with new beer can filling unit and delivering despite the Corona crisis

Huge progress has been made in the ongoing work with Pontum’s new beer can filling unit. The first version is currently being built, although we are still waiting for some parts to be delivered. We are planning on starting trial runs in our factory as early as June. After that further work will be done with the machine and some final touches will be made. We will then go through with trial runs at a brewery in September, and units will most likely be ready for delivery by October. There is already a long line-up on orders for the beer can filling unit. The first machine will be a 66mm CDL, and it will fill 33- and 50cl cans.

In other news – Pontum is still selling and delivering machines overseas, despite the corona crisis. Recently an order was made from England, and we are now ready to install the machine before the quarantine begins on June 8th.
